Jack and Bore

Auger Boring provides a safe, slurry-free method of installing pipes and cable ducts of large diameter without causing any surface disruptions. This method allows large-diameter pipes to be installed under roadways, rivers, and buildings without ever shutting down a lane.

The process begins by setting up a micro tunnel Pilot bore machine which installs an extremely precise pre-bore that ensures that the following bore will on grade and exactly where it needs to be.

The pilot bore is then followed by the casing pipe that is bored in using one of our jack & bore machines that augers through the earth, Once the casing pipe is in, carrier pipe can easily be installed on grade in a short amount of time.
